How much does Fleetr cost?
The complete Fleetr solution including software and hardware is $12.99 per month.
Is there a contract associated with Fleetr?
No contract. This a month to month agreement. You can terminate at any time. Return of hardware is required.
What is the term of the agreement?
The term of this agreement is month-to-month. Unless sooner terminated, this agreement will expire on the last day of each calendar month and will renew automatically for an additional calendar month.
When do I get billed?
You are charged on the first of each month for the number of units you have requested to use.
Is there a return policy?
Yes. We offer a full refund if you are not satisfied within 30 days.
How do I cancel my subscription to Fleetr?
To cancel, you must notify Fleetr Support by phone at least five days prior to the last day of the month.
Do I have to pay for the device, hardware, or unit?
No. But you are required to return the devices at the end of your contract.
What if I want to add or remove a unit during the month?
You may add a unit at any point in time. Once your credit card is charged at the beginning of the month, we will not adjust the current month billing. Your change will be reflected in the next billing period.
Is there a minimum number of vehicles or maximum?
Maximum number of vehicles is 100.
Setup
Once I place my order how long will it take for my device to arrive?
It takes 4-6 working days for the devices to arrive. You will get a tracking number within 1-2 days. Delivery is done through major carriers such as UPS, FEDEX and USPS.
What is OBD?
OBD stands for On-Board Diagnostics, an automotive term that refers to the diagnostic and reporting capabilities of a vehicle. OBD is a valuable tool for repair technicians, vehicle owners, and fleet managers, as it is used to monitor the health and performance of the vehicle’s engine and emissions system.
Can I install the device myself?
The device is easily installed in your vehicle by simply plugging it into its OBDII port. The OBDII port is located below the steering wheel or around it.
Why do I need to connect a device to the vehicle?
The device is Fleetr’s way of getting data from your vehicle.
What is the battery consumption of the device on my vehicle?
The device has a consumption less than 3 milliamps (an electrical charge equivalent to 0.036 Watts of power for a 12 Volt battery) in idle state.
Is the operation of my vehicle affected by the device?
No. The device should not affect the operation of your vehicle.
How do I know if the device is working?
A green light on the device indicates it is working.
Are all vehicles compatible?
Almost all types of vehicles made after 1996 are compatible. Some older vehicles may have less engine data available.
What happens if I install the device in a different vehicle than mine?
We receive an alert and we will contact you to verify the anomaly. We ask you not to to switch because it can be interpreted as theft or an attempt at fraud. If you have to switch, please notify Fleetr.
How do I login into the app?
Fleetr will send you an email with a link and login information.
Do my drivers have a separate login?
Drivers do not yet have access to the Fleetr solution.

Can multiple drivers use the same vehicle
Yes. However, drivers should notify the fleet manager when they switch.
How is the driver safety score calculated and what does it mean?
The safety score is a weighted average of the following indicators of risky driving behavior: hard braking, rapid acceleration, sharp turns and speeding. The score is determined by the severity of the incident and the duration. The score is also influenced by the driver’s total driving time. Drivers who drive for more than the recommended hours will have a lower score overall.
A score above 67 is considered safe. A score below 33 is risky and requires immediate attention.
The scores are calculated based on a full week’s data, Monday through Sunday.
How is the fleet efficiency score calculated and what does it mean?
The operational efficiency score is based on several indicators of efficient fuel usage such as idle time, speed, and hard braking incidents. It allows you to reduce fuel costs and manage fleet efficiency.
A score above 67 is considered efficient. A score below 33 is inefficient and requires immediate attention.
The scores are calculated based on a full week’s data, Monday through Sunday.

Can I access Fleetr from my cell phone?
Yes, you only need to download the app and login with your username and password.
What mobile devices does your product support?
Our application works on Android devices version 5.1 onwards and on iOS version 10.
Is my data secure on the Fleetr solution?
Fleetr uses the most recent and updated data security protocols.
What kind of data does the device record?
The device records mileage, speed, time of day and location and monitors speed, hard breaking and sudden accelerations.
